One of 2007's Worst Games, Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars, Now Available on Steam

Thanks to Strategy First, the retro action RPG Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars has made a surprise appearance on Steam – a full 17 years after its original release.
The game's story centers around a sudden demonic invasion. A portal opens in the human world, unleashing an army of demons led by the powerful and malevolent Pompolic, intent on subjugating humanity. Players take on the role of a brave warrior tasked with defeating the invaders. The game features 15 levels, two playable characters (a warrior and an Amazon), 18 enemy types, and a formidable final boss.
Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars was widely considered one of the worst games of 2007, earning extremely low scores from critics. IGN gave the game a scathing 1.2/10 rating. The title was originally released exclusively on PC.
