«The Avengers Are Not Coming»: Marvel Releases First Trailer for Thunderbolts

Marvel unveiled the debut trailer for Thunderbolts during Super Bowl 2025. In the spirit of Suicide Squad, the film tells the story of a group of anti-heroes tasked with completing a government mission.

The trailer showcases all members of the team: Bucky Barnes, Ghost, U.S. Agent, Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, and Taskmaster. The main villain appears to be the alternate version of Sentry, known as Void.

The film is directed by Jake Schreier, known for his work on Legion and The Bear . The cast includes Sebastian Stan, Hannah John-Kamen, Wyatt Russell, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, and Olga Kurylenko in leading roles.

Thunderbolts hits theaters on May 2.
