TCL Thunderbird F6 Monitor with MiniLED and Quantum Dot Priced Like a Budget Model

TCL Thunderbird has shaken up the market with the launch of the Thunderbird F6, a monitor that delivers top-tier specs at a price point that will have competitors sweating. At its core is a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel with a Full HD (1920×1080) resolution and a blazing 300Hz refresh rate. With a 1ms (GtG) response time, ghosting is virtually eliminated, while AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync support ensure ultra-smooth gameplay, even in the most intense action scenes. But the real game-changer is Quantum Dot technology, delivering 97% DCI-P3 and 99% sRGB coverage—an unprecedented feat for a monitor in this price range.
Despite its budget-friendly cost, the monitor is certified for HDR 600 with a peak brightness of 600 nits. The MiniLED technology features 180 local dimming zones and 10-bit color (8-bit + FRC), achieving a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 for stunning detail in shadows and highlights. Connectivity options include 2x HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4, and an audio output. The TCL Thunderbird F6 will be available starting February 18 for just $136, though initially exclusive to China. This new release blends premium-grade technology with ergonomic features previously unseen in the budget segment.
