Sapphire B850M NITRO+ Motherboard Unveiled — A Powerful Foundation for AM5 Systems with DDR5-8000

Sapphire has unveiled its first AMD B850 chipset motherboard—the B850M NITRO+. Aimed at PC enthusiasts, this model delivers not only enhanced performance but also seamless visual harmony with future Radeon RX 9070 NITRO+ GPUs.
The Micro-ATX board (245 × 245 mm) is fully compatible with all current AMD AM5 processors. Its standout feature is the ability to overclock DDR5 memory up to 8000 MT/s—15% higher than its predecessor, the B650M NITRO+. Four DIMM slots support up to 196 GB of RAM. Additionally, the board offers PCIe 5.0 support for both the primary GPU slot and one M.2 slot, delivering up to 128 GB/s of bandwidth. A second M.2 slot and a PCIe 4.0 x4 slot provide expansion options for storage and peripherals, while four SATA ports cater to traditional storage setups.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and Gigabit Ethernet (Realtek RTL8125BG). The rear I/O panel houses a USB-C 3.2 Gen2 port along with three USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports. The motherboard's heatsink design and black-gray color scheme align with the Radeon RX 9070 NITRO+ series, maintaining a unified system aesthetic while incorporating subtle contrast for a striking visual effect.
The Sapphire B850M NITRO+ is now available in China for $180 (approximately 16,000 RUB) and will soon reach global markets. By combining DDR5-8000 speeds, PCIe 5.0 flexibility, and a cohesive design, Sapphire delivers a rare blend of performance and style in the Micro-ATX segment.
