Doom: The Dark Ages Rated 18+ for Blood, Buttocks, and Dismemberment

Doom: The Dark Ages has predictably received an 18+ rating from Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). The game’s description has revealed some gameplay details.

The player will be able to fight hordes of demons in close combat with a wide arsenal — a saw-shield, various medieval weapons, a regular firearm, a rocket launcher, and also pilot a mech and a dragon. Enemies will explode, leaving streaks of blood on the Doom Slayer’s visor, and the player himself, if he deals enough damage, will be able to stun opponents for a spectacular finisher and disembowelment. One of the scenes will also feature an enemy character with “naked buttocks”.

Doom: The Dark Ages will be released on May 15 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The system requirements can be found here.

Previously, gameplay and weapons from Doom: The Dark Ages were added to the classic parts of Doom. The mod has already acquired an alpha version for everyone.
