Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances Launches on Steam

Out of the blue, the free-to-play MMO strategy game Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances has stealth-launched on Steam. As of this writing, the game is available in all regions.
Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances, originally developed by EA Phenomic, first surfaced as a browser-based game back in 2012. Gameplay-wise, it echoes the core elements of the earlier C&C titles: you gather resources, expand your base, and clash with other players. The game features two factions – the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and the Brotherhood of Nod – alongside 15 buildings and a combined 29 offensive and defensive units.
For those keeping track of the franchise, the last full-fledged Command & Conquer title dropped way back in 2009. In 2020, EA did treat us to Command & Conquer Remastered Collection, bringing some old favorites back to life.
