Netflix has released a full trailer for its upcoming Devil May Cry anime, and nostalgia is in full force. If the last teaser featured Limp Bizkit, this time, the action unfolds to the sound of Papa Roach.
Fans in the comments were quick to point out the throwback vibes:
This trailer is basically the embodiement of every late 2000s amv on YouTube.
While I very much enjoy hearing early 2000s music, I am worried that it means I'm now old and this is the same as how I enjoy 80s music.
First it was Limp Bizkit. Now it's Papa Roach... I wouldn't be surprised if Skillet plays in the show.
The Devil May Cry anime premieres on April 3. The series is produced by Studio Mir (The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood) and Adi Shankar (Castlevania).
