Forest Reigns Gameplay Drops, From Ex-S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Devs
New gameplay footage has surfaced for Forest Reigns, the upcoming shooter from VG Entertainment (formerly Vostok Games), a studio founded by developers of the first three S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.
The fresh 8-minute video showcases three different approaches to completing a single mission. We see the protagonist going in guns blazing, utilizing stealth takedowns, and cleverly outsmarting enemies using traps and alternative routes.
Forest Reigns is a single-player first-person shooter with survival and RPG elements, set in a post-apocalyptic Paris overrun by mutated animals and plants. The game promises a non-linear storyline, dozens of quests, diverse factions, a crafting system, and extensive gear customization.
The project is being developed on Unreal Engine 5. Forest Reigns is slated for release on PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. A release date has not yet been announced.
