YouTuber Sverkerbonk decided to experiment with the camera in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, transforming the historical RPG into an isometric experience. His efforts resulted in a short video that has already racked up 200,000 views.
The footage showcases a few combat scenes, ending with a hilariously abrupt horseback retreat. Despite the drastic perspective shift, the game looks surprisingly natural—almost as if Warhorse had originally considered releasing it as an isometric strategy in the vein of Manor Lords.
The video also went viral on Reddit, amassing nearly 10,000 upvotes. Here’s what players are saying:
Babe, wake up, The Witcher 1 Remake has dropped.
This is super interesting. Really goes to show how much impact the different POVs have on the overall feel of a game. 1st person is obviously great for this game due to the added immersion, grittiness of the combat up close and so on. Still looks great in isometric style but definitely has a very different feel.
Perfect ending lol.
