Half-Life 2 RTX Remaster Demo Now Available on Steam

Orbifold Studios has released a demo for Half-Life 2 RTX, an unofficial remaster built using RTX Remix. The demo includes levels from Ravenholm and the Nova Prospekt.
The minimum system requirements list an Intel i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, and 16GB of RAM. To play at max settings in 4K at 144 FPS, you’ll need a high-end PC with an RTX 5080.
To mark the release, a YouTube video comparing the remaster to the original 2005 game has been published.
The demo is available for download on Steam. The full version will be free for all owners of the standard Half-Life 2.
