First Game by Syberia Creator Available for Free on Steam and GOG—For a Limited Time

Benoit Sokal, best known as the creator of Syberia, released another adventure game before Kate Walker’s iconic journey—AmerZone: The Explorer’s Legacy. To celebrate the upcoming full-fledged remake, French studio Microids has launched a free giveaway of the original game.

AmerZone is available for free on Steam and GOG, but act fast—the giveaway ends today.

Originally released in 1999, AmerZone follows a young journalist who embarks on a journey to fulfill the last wish of a deceased adventurer, leading him to the mysterious island of Amerzone.

As for the remake, it is set to launch on April 24. The game will be priced at 39,99€ on Steam.
