Microsoft officially unveils the new version of the Xbox Wireless Headset

As expected, Microsoft has introduced a new version of the Xbox Wireless Headset, featuring several improvements over the 2021 model. For instance, the battery life has been increased from 15 to 20 hours.
Other features of the new Xbox Wireless Headset include:
- An improved microphone with better noise cancellation and an auto-mute function when folded;
- Support for Bluetooth 5.3, allowing the headset to be used not only with Xbox One or Xbox Series X but also with PCs and smartphones;
- Support for spatial audio technologies like Dolby Atmos, Windows Sonic, and DTS Headphone:X.
The Xbox Wireless Headset continues to use 40mm dynamic drivers capable of delivering sound in the range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The headset weighs 312 grams and features synthetic leather ear cushions. The soft headband is designed to ensure a comfortable fit.
The new headset is available in the official Xbox store for $110.
