ASUS unveils AI-powered router for gamers with ad-blocking feature
At CES, ASUS introduced the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI, a new gaming router equipped with a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) to power its artificial intelligence capabilities. This router is designed to block unwanted ads, trackers, and malicious websites, offering a cleaner and safer online experience for gamers. The AI also helps improve Wi-Fi stability by reducing noise and optimizing the network for gaming traffic, ensuring a smoother connection.
In addition, the router supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology, which offers speeds of up to 19 Gbps under ideal conditions, providing top-tier performance for gaming and high-bandwidth tasks. Despite its impressive features, the price of the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI is set at $800, making it an expensive option, especially when compared to mid-range gaming PCs.
