Recently, Ubisoft found itself in a bit of a scandal when social media users discovered that Star Wars Outlaws would feature an exclusive mission with Jabba the Hutt, available only to owners of the more expensive editions of the game. Many players immediately criticized the company, thinking this would be the only mission featuring the famous antagonist.
Following this, Ubisoft had to respond to the numerous angry posts. It turned out that the developers never intended to make Jabba the Hutt an «exclusive» character since he plays an important role in the storyline.
Star Wars Outlaws will be released on August 30 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
