The Czech publication Indian published an interview with the lead designer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Prokop Jirsa, who revealed several new details about the sequel.
- Deliverance 2 will be the final chapter in the story of Henry;
- The second part will remain just as hardcore, although some mechanics have been simplified. For example, there are now four directions of attack available in combat instead of five;
- The role-playing system will include dozens of skills. The developers have tried to make them as deep and at the same time as intuitive as possible, so that players wouldn't need to look up guides on YouTube;
- Schnapps is still required to save the game, but now it will be encountered more frequently;
- The main character can be branded if he commits a serious crime. Many NPCs will start to avoid the player, but in some places, the mark will command respect;
- Firearms will scare people, as such weapons were a novelty at the time;
- Kutna Hora will be much larger than Sazava from the first part;
- There will be no children in the game;
- NPCs' attitudes towards Henry will change depending on his appearance.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is set to be released in 2024 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
