An enthusiast made his own Fallout using Excel
The author of the YouTube channel Dynamic Pearl has created his own RPG, inspired by the Fallout universe, which will run on almost any computer. It runs on Microsoft Excel and is completely free.
According to the enthusiast, he decided to use this program because he does not have developer skills. Despite this, he managed to implement map movement, a combat system, and a series of quests. He took the D&D system as a basis — each action is determined by the roll of a virtual dice. The game even has a plot — the main character goes to the Wasteland with several party members to save his native settlement.
The game is available for free at this link.
Let us remind you that Bethesda previously released a next-gen update for Fallout 4. It was not without problems — the patch broke almost all major mods for the game.
