The Steam page for Silent Hill 2 Remake has been updated. Now James Sutherland looks more like the original
Users noticed changes on the Silent Hill 2 Remake page on SteamDB — the game's label was changed. It presented a more canonical image of James Sutherland.
The developers corrected the graphics and improved the hair structure, and also slightly changed the shape of the face (image on the left). Apparently, the reason was the players' feedback on the appearance of the main character in the re-release. Let us remember that in 2022, after the announcement from Konami, the Internet was filled with memes ridiculing James' new image.
The remake is being developed by Bloober Team studio led by Konami. The release date for the re-release is not yet known, but some hints indicate that it will happen in the first half of 2024.
Previously, Silent Hill 2 Remake received a «mature» rating for scenes showing violence. Recently information appeared that the project will be shown in May at the Play Station presentation.
