Insider Reveals Approximate Release Date for Medieval Open-World Action/RPG Crimson Desert
Insider Lunatic Ignus has shared fresh information about Crimson Desert, an ambitious medieval setting action RPG that many remember from last year's trailer. According to him, the marketing campaign will begin in the summer, and visitors to Gamescom 2024 will be able to try out the demo version.
As for the release, it is allegedly scheduled for the first quarter of 2025. One Reddit user noted that Lunatic Ignus is not the most well-known insider in the western community, but he previously leaked several details about Black Myth: Wukong.
Crimson Desert was announced in 2019. Initially, the game was conceived as an MMORPG in the Black Desert universe, but over time it evolved into a single-player project. The release will take place on PC and consoles.
As for Black Myth: Wukong, the «soulslike» game will be released on August 20. Recently, the game topped the list of the most anticipated titles on Steam.
