The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Announced — The First Game with Zelda as the Main Character

During the new Direct presentation, Nintendo announced The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. This will be the first installment in the franchise's 28-year history where Princess Zelda plays the main role.

According to the plot, Link disappears after yet another battle with Ganon, and Zelda sets out to find him. Visually and gameplay-wise, the game will resemble the remake of Link's Awakening.

As Zelda, players will use a magical staff that allows them to clone objects from the game world. In the trailer, you can see the heroine creating an improvised ladder from chairs and summoning Bokoblins.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will be released on September 26 for Nintendo Switch. Along with the game, a new design of the Switch Lite will go on sale.
