The Lollipop Chainsaw remaster gets its first trailer with a release date
Dragami Games has finally released the first trailer for the Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP remaster, which was announced in early 2023. The video shows Juliet Starling taking down zombies and larger enemies.
The remaster will boast 4K and 60 FPS support, improved textures, and fast loading times. The studio has also slightly tweaked the gameplay (increased the heroine's movement and attack speed), added several new chainsaws and costumes, and created a special RePOP mode with more colorful battles.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will be released on September 25 for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders have not yet started, but the game is priced at $50.
The original Lollipop Chainsaw was released in 2012 and sold 1.24 million copies. The project was worked on by Goichi Suda, James Gunn, and Akira Yamaoka.
