The creators of the free Silent Hill have announced a new horror game. There's a page on Steam

HexaDrive studio, which released the free Silent Hill: The Short Message, has announced a new horror game called Niraya. Formally, the game is titled Niraya of ■■, but there is speculation that the name might change.

The first details of the project are already available on Steam. According to the plot, a little girl finds herself in an unfamiliar world inspired by the Kamakura period of Japan (1185-1333) and tries to find her way home. Everything is complicated by the fact that the heroine is being pursued by monsters.

The developers are focusing on a «unique» gameplay mechanic where players can only dodge monster attacks. Creepy locations and puzzles are also promised.

Niraya is set to be released at the end of 2025. Fans of the early Silent Hill games should pay attention to the horror game Post Trauma, published by Raw Fury. You can watch its trailer below.
