Sony shuts down Concord servers — the game lasted only two weeks

The story of one of the most failed projects has come to an end: Sony announced the shutdown of the servers of the heroic shooter Concord. Only 15 days have passed since the game's release.

The developers announced the game's closure on social networks, thanking the players for their support:

One of the users managed to capture the moment the game was closed right during the match:

Concord's affairs were going pretty badly even from the moment of beta testing, when the game attracted just over two thousand players on Steam. At the exit, the peak online was even less, failing to overcome the 700-person mark and decreasing day by day. According to analysts, the game, worth almost $200 million, sold only 25 thousand copies on PC and PS5. This was probably the last point for the publisher, Sony, who decided to close the failed project and return the players' money for the purchase.

Earlier, details of the cancelled fifth part of Crash Bandicoot 5 appeared online.
