Silent Hill 2 can now be played in first-person view
Modder ZealotTormunds has released the final version of his add-on for Silent Hill 2 from 2001, which adds first- and third-person view with an over-the-shoulder view. The mod works with both the original version and the fan remaster.
Judging by the description, Zealot's Camera Mod affects not only the camera position, but also restores the textures of some objects like the observation deck, and also allows manual aiming. You can configure the mod through the menu by pausing the game with the ESC key and pressing F1.
The Zealot's Camera Mod add-on is available for download at this link. To use it, you will need to copy the files from the archive to the root folder of Silent Hill 2.
Recall that a remake of Silent Hill 2 from Bloober Team is being prepared for release. New gameplay with recognizable locations from the original was recently shown. The remake is scheduled to be released on October 8 for PC and PS5.
