Second trailer for Gladiator sequel released

Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for Gladiator 2, the sequel to the cult film from director Ridley Scott. The film will premiere in November of this year.

According to the plot, the main character Lucius, the son of the legendary Maximus, is captured and becomes one of the fighters of the Colosseum. However, the newly minted gladiator intends to avenge the death of his family at any cost. At the same time, he finds himself in the very epicenter of a conspiracy against Rome.

The film stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington. The film was directed by Ridley Scott, the director of the original 2000 film.

The premiere of Gladiator 2 is scheduled for November 22.

Earlier, a trailer for the science fiction film Mickey 17 starring Robert Pattinson was released.
