Until Dawn remake adds a new ending that wasn't in the original
Although the official release of the Until Dawn remake was scheduled for October 4, some gamers got access to the game earlier. One of them not only managed to record a full walkthrough, but also discovered a completely new ending with a sequel in mind. Beware, spoilers!
The scene was noticed by Reddit users. The updated video after the credits features the characters Josh Washington and Sam Giddings. It seems that the former is saved before turning into a wendigo, and the hero's hallucinations promise him some kind of «redemption». The scene with Sam takes place several years after the events of the game — the girl is still experiencing post-traumatic disorder, but the video with her ends with a cliffhanger that hints at a continuation of the series.
Recall that the release of the Until Dawn remake will take place on October 4 on PC and PlayStation 5.
Work is also currently underway on a film adaptation of Until Dawn, with PlayStation Productions already revealing the cast. The film will be rated «adult» and will be directed by David F. Sandberg, known for his work on the superhero action film Shazam!
