Nintendo announces smart alarm clock Alarmo with themes from Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda, and more
Nintendo has announced a new gadget — the smart alarm clock Alarmo. It features a screen where users can set various themes (initially five) with different clock faces and images from Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Pikmin 4, Splatoon 3, and Ring Fit Adventure.
Additionally, Alarmo owners will be able to change melodies and set music and sounds from games. If the user doesn't respond to the alarm and doesn't wake up, it will start emitting louder audio effects. Once the person wakes up, the alarm clock will greet them with a special sound.
«Alarmo has a sensor that reacts to your movements, so you can snooze the alarm with gestures and end it by getting out of bed. Try Button Mode if you prefer a more traditional alarm clock», — reads the description.
In the future, the company plans to release free updates for Alarmo with new themes and melodies. The device is priced at $100.
As a reminder, a possible design for the new Nintendo Switch recently leaked online, which rumors suggest could be announced as early as this fall.
