New Fairy Tail RPG Now Available on PC

Fairy Tail 2, the sequel to the 2020 RPG based on the popular Fairy Tail manga and anime, has launched on PC. Available in Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate editions.

This third-person, 3D anime RPG adapts the final arc of the original manga, the Alvarez Empire arc, and features a revamped battle system designed for more dynamic combat. A significant addition is a completely original storyline, The Key to the Unknown, which expands the narrative beyond the manga's conclusion.

Despite the Fairy Tail franchise's widespread popularity, Fairy Tail 2 has experienced a lackluster launch. Peak player counts have reportedly reached only 398, and the game currently holds a mixed 55% positive rating. Criticism has focused on subpar optimization, a perceived high price point, and the controversial changes made to the combat system.

Coming December 13th to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
