Insider: The PC version of The Last of Us: Part 2 began development back in 2021
Reliable insider billbil-kun reported that the PC version of The Last of Us: Part 2 is indeed in development. According to his data, the production of the port started at least in 2021, and by November 2023, it was already completed.
billbil-kun does not yet know the exact reason why the sequel has not yet reached the PC. Possibly, Sony is waiting for the premiere of the second season of the show with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey — such releases significantly impact sales.
In January 2024, Sony released a remaster of The Last of Us: Part 2, including cut levels, developer commentary, and a new «roguelike» mode.
The premiere of the second season of The Last of Us will take place in the first half of 2025. Previously, official footage appeared online.
