Enthusiasts brought The Crew race back to life after a server shutdown — video
Fans of the first The Crew did not put up with the shutdown of Ubisoft servers and managed to partially «resurrect» the race by sharing the first results. The game performs well in free ride mode.
The author of the video managed to ride from Detroit to the Black Hills and even complete some tasks. In the future, enthusiasts intend to develop a server emulator so that they can play in teams and use all network functions. In addition, The Crew will become available for modifications.
You can follow the project on the official Discord.
Let us remind you that The Crew servers were disabled on March 31 of this year, ten years after the release. In response to this decision by Ubisoft, players massively brought down the ratings of The Crew Motorfest on Steam.
