BaroTraumatic
Vanilla difficulty in Barotrauma can quickly turn into boring and monotonous underwater adventures. This mod increases the difficulty by adding points of interest and enemies. Additionally, there are several biomes here that will help you dive into the unknown.
Shipwrecks Extended
In the standard version, there are at most 10 variants of beacons (sunken submarines). This mod expands this number, creating a unique experience for each sortie. Some beacons are dangerous, others can be completely useless, and some you can even dock with.
Dead Space
You are on another planet, so why not add a pinch of Dead Space? With this mod, necromorphs, new weapons, the Unitologist faction with their quests, and much more from the popular Dead Space series will be added to the game.
Barotravma 40K
And if you are a fan of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, then this mod is for you. We recommend turning it on in isolation from other mods to avoid critical errors. In the Barotravma 40K mod, you will find a new campaign, longer levels, more types of weapons, enemies, professions, and much more. This allows you to feel like an adept of the Empire and get a new experience from the game.
Neurotrauma
Even after release, many mechanics leave questions. The Neurotrauma mod is designed to improve the medical system. With this mod, the profession of a doctor on a submarine will become more interesting and broader. Many symptoms have been added for you to treat the crew: surgery, organ damage, and replacement.
Don't forget to charge for treatment, as you need to equip your medical bay.
[VH] The Iroh
If the basic submarines do not suit you, then you should take a look at the next mod. Everything in it is assembled from official parts, so you do not need additional modifications, and the gaming experience can be considered authentic. A small level 3 Scout class submarine is designed for 3-6 players, which is ideal for a small company.
Livelandr's Sandbox Menu
Earlier, we already talked about important console commands that will help you in the game. But if you are not fluent in English or prefer to work with visuals, then this mod is for you. Livelandr's Sandbox Menu adds a separate interactive window that will allow simplified management of console commands and cheats.
Malachite
Another custom submarine that has everything for conquering the waters of Europa. Spacious compartments, many convenient features like a flooding system in case of fire or automatic turrets around the perimeter, as well as many item boxes (even too many). All this and much more will allow you to complete the game on any difficulty without changing the submarine.
Modular Backpack
If you play alone, spending precious time carrying resources, or love to carry everything with you, then this mod will help you with that. The modular backpack will expand the inventory, allowing you to sort and organize everything you need for an underwater sortie, as well as speed up the transport of heavy ammunition.
THG Armory — Vanilla Weapon Pack
The standard set of weapons is meager and does not inspire excitement. With this mod, you will expand the available arsenal, which will allow you to increase your combat potential. There is even a handheld railgun (not recommended for use inside the submarine).
