Beyond Mankind: The Awakening is an adventure role-playing shooter with a first-person view in a science fiction setting. 2121 Nuclear winter is coming to an end on Earth. New biological species reign over the icy expanses of cities left in ruins and desolation. With the advent of previously unseen giant animals that rapidly evolved in conditions of cold and radiation, life on the planet became even more dangerous. The ruins of civilization face a difficult choice — to enter into a difficult war for control of the planet, failure in which will put an end to the existence of humanity, or humbly accept the fate of a species unable to survive in the new conditions. There are those who are sure that there is no choice and war is inevitable, but what it will lead to — triumph or complete collapse — is completely unclear. Homo sapiens finds himself at a crossroads, but whatever his decision, the prospects look bleak.
