“Behind Enemy Lines” (or Men of War) is a series of real-time strategies from the Ukrainian studio Best Way, the first part of which was released back in 2004. The plot of these games tells about the events of World War II with the opportunity to play as soldiers from different countries, with the exception of Men of War: Vietnam.
The main difference between the games in the “Behind Enemy Lines” series is a small squad controlled by the gamer. It is very important to constantly manage the available soldiers and ensure that no one dies needlessly during the mission.
By the way, the player still has a lot of soldiers at his disposal, if we compare “Behind Enemy Lines” with the Commandos series.
