Penumbra is a small horror series from the Swedish company Frictional Games, released between 2007 and 2008. The plot tells about the secret station "Manuik", which a man named Philippe Lafresque ends up with. A whole series of strange events happen to him, stretched into three parts.
During the passage, the main character will not have the opportunity to walk freely through the locations: both dangerous monsters and hallucinations will interfere, due to which it will be difficult for the player to distinguish what is reality and what is the fruit of an “undermined” protagonist's imagination.
