Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is a visual novel with elements of a Japanese-style dating simulator. Only the most talented students in any field are accepted into the elite Hope's Peak Academy. An ordinary guy, Makoto, turns out to be the winner of the academy's annual lottery, and gets there thanks to the so-called lucky one's talent. However, he and 14 other students soon find themselves captured by the teddy bear Monokuma, who forces them to take part in a deadly game of survival.
