DOOM (1995) — first-person shooter in the horror genre. The player is asked to alternately explore levels of varying difficulty, solve spatial and (rarely) logical problems, find hiding places, destroy as many monsters as possible and survive. The levels are intricate labyrinths with many doors, keys, elevators, shafts, buttons and secret rooms.
Instead of floors there may be lava, acids of varying strengths, water, toxic waste. Most levels have teleporters that instantly transport the player to another location in the current level. Some areas of the floor are able to move in a vertical direction (either with or without the player's desire), others can turn from stone into acid (usually this appears as the floor sinking into the waste surrounding it), others open secret doors with an ambush (technically this is done when crossing the border between areas, and not when being in one of them).

The very first first-person shooter in my life was DOOM! Now it is launched on everything - watches, players and even cameras. I advise people who adore 8-bit machines to play - because the graphics aren’t very good, but you can get nostalgic! Although this is a first-person game, there is no vertical view - this is of course a minus, but not terrible - the game is built so that it is not needed. I remember the music in the game very well - by the way, it was inserted into the secret rooms in the Duma in 2016 - nice. Самый первый шутер от первого лица в моей жизни это DOOM! Сейчас ее запускают на всем на чем не льнь — часы, плееры и даже фотоаппараты. Советую поиграть людям, которые обожают 8 битные машины — ибо графончик там не очень, но понастальгировать можно! Хоть это игра и от первого лица, в ней отсутствует взгляд по вертикали — это конечно же минус, но не страшный — игра построена так что он не понадобится. Очень хорошо запомнилась музыка в игре — ее кстати вставили в секретные комнаты в Думе 2016 года — приятно. Назвать эту игру лучшим шутером от первого лица, как это сейчас делают некоторые я не могу, т.к. это скорей классика — исторический шедевр что ли, после которого появились шутеры от первого лица. Даже не знаю, какое огромное количество нежити вы уничтожили за время прохождения данной игры, наверняка это число переваливает за пять сотен, а то и больше.
Мясорубка, которая актуальна и по сей день. Правда, управление оставляет желать лучшего. Ну а пиксельный графон наоборот притягивает своей оригинальностью.
