Perhaps, as an ardent Skyrim fan, the game is almost perfect for me. Most of the glitches with tasks have been fixed, but, unfortunately, not all. The DLCs are quite interesting, considering that they add locations and much more. There are more possibilities, and in general the game has become more interesting compared to the original. Moreover, the controls are not complicated and you quickly get used to everything and immerse yourself in the harsh world of these lands.

A very controversial re-release. One of the good features is that the game has a 64-bit exe file, which allows you to use a large number of mods and graphic enhancements. On the other hand, they changed the scripting system and broke the models, which is why most mods don’t work.

And of course, this is still the same Skyrim, with the same bugs and glitches.

The original was an epic game, but not without its flaws, those who played it know. What can we say about the Special Edition? In short, this is Bethesd working on bugs and improving graphics. In terms of gameplay and storyline, this is still the same Skyrim as before. In terms of graphics and controls, it meets the standards of 2016, so the remaster cannot be said to be empty and “they did it to make an easy buck.” Yes, the boyars might be unhappy, but they were given the game for free, and on consoles the original was very poor. I reviewed the original game, I won’t repeat it. The special edition is a revision of a large number of bugs and errors, 2 of the coolest additions (well, and Hearthfire, which no one needs yet), and all this in a beautiful package. Frankly speaking, it’s worth taking at least because of the presence of all the DLC

Quite a controversial re-release. No new content. But the game has become more playable on consoles. Not the worst reissue. But without any zest. And the improved graphics are debatable. Because you can screw up the vanilla with mods, but of course it will eat up the system significantly.

I am a fan of TES and Skyrim in particular, so there will be no objectivity here. I’ll just say that if you somehow miraculously missed Skyrim, run and play, but take a vacation, because you’ll be out of your life for a good hundred hours. This is an excellent RPG, a cult RPG, an interesting RPG... In fact, you can praise Skyrim for a very long time, but if we talk about the main advantages (IMHO), then these are:

For quite a long time I decided to play Skyrim. Everything seemed like it would be boring and uninteresting. I was wrong. This is an incredibly interesting and wonderful game. So many possibilities, options, offers. A large map with many different cities, NPCs, and quests. Interesting mercenaries, charming villains, diverse rulers. And, of course, Dragons. Many, many, too many dragons that can attack anywhere, anytime, anyhow. How much I suffered with their murder in the cities - this is some kind of kick-ass. And how many times did they fly away from me when I had almost killed them? Can't count.

What is Skyrim?

This is, firstly, an endless game (due to the quest generator), the progenitor of the greatest meme about the knee and the arrow (old people will understand), and also a game that gave many players from all over the world childhood, hours of fun and frenzy due to bugs (an integral part of the entire Elder Scrolls franchise), as well as new friends and interesting gaming communities, all in one game.

As for me, TES: Skyrim is a breakthrough game for that time, as soon as it came out, and to this day.

This game can be played over and over again, but you will still feel as if you are playing for the first time. It makes me happy that people are making truly amazing modifications, from small ones (like the 4K carrot mod) to full-blown mods (like Project EGO, Moonpath Elsweir, Vigilant).
