Review of v/1.49.2.0 This update has completely ruined a wonderful game that I have been playing for many years! Yes, there is something to compare with!
The graphics are disgusting, and no amount of dancing with a tambourine will fix it, only a third-party fix! Playing on full ultra settings is disgusting! It feels like I'm driving through the kingdom of distorting mirrors! If anisotropy, smoothing, brightness can still be adjusted somehow, then the effect of watercolor, bloom, and paintedness cannot be corrected! Only outside interference.
The controls have been radically tailored to the “Rudder”, this is obvious from the physics of technology! Of course, we left the settings for keyboard players, but this is in the form of a sop, like since you bought our game, then okay, so be it. Thanks yup!
These are the changes regarding the damage received, the wear and tear of the car, the replacement of parts! As a whole, they ruined the economy, which was already flawed before the change! Now you won’t just easily go bankrupt during the game, but will immediately find yourself in complete economic ass! Those who play already know how much is expected for a major overhaul of a truck! It turns out to be several times more expensive than buying a car!
Add constant fuel consumption + penalties + random damage!
With everything described above, I immediately noticed that the traffic just went crazy! Firstly, the traffic has become denser! And traffic cars began to behave simply impudently, this is expressed in banal violations of traffic rules, constant car set-ups, many kamikaze drivers who cut off, block, fly to the sides! They just overtake and slow down in front of me! They don’t give way and don’t respond to light or sound signals!
This suggests that the game, due to changes in 1.49, was tailored to the player’s damage!
The lighting as it was, to put it mildly, “disgusting”, has become even worse!
Sound! I would like to know when the developers will take their heads out of their asses and make good sound in the game that matches realism, the "driver" simulator where they get voice acting for trucks remains a mystery! But the sound for the brakes was clearly taken at the railway station! Because this iron grinding of cast-iron pads on steel drums hurts the ears unbearably!
In the end, I’ll say that despite the fact that I’m a veteran of this game, I’m deleting version 1.49, and I don’t recommend it to you! I'll stay at 1.48! I might have missed something, because there are a huge number of bugs in this version, really!
My conscience won’t allow me to call this game good anymore! Good luck on the roads.
