The game takes place in modern Tokyo. The plot begins at the famous Shibuya pedestrian crossing, when in an instant absolutely all the inhabitants of the city disappear — only the main character named Akito remains. At this moment, the area is enveloped in a mysterious fog, which blurs the line between the real and astral worlds. The hero, who finds himself cut off from the rest of the world, will have to explore the transformed area and find information about the mysterious disappearance of people, about his relatives and about Hannya, the culprit in the incident, who hid his face under a mask.
The main character will be helped to fight the monsters by the spirit of the stern detective Kay-Kay, who possessed Akito after the accident and helped him survive. Kay-Kay is an experienced spirit hunter who has previously encountered Hannya. The opponents of Akito and Kay-Kay will be evil supernatural creatures — Aliens. The player will have access to three attacking elements — wind, water and fire. The first is similar to a pistol — it releases clots of ether at enemies. The second resembles a shotgun — it throws back opponents, causing them great damage. The third is similar to a rocket launcher — it deals huge damage to everyone who gets into the affected area. There is also a fourth element — earth. It is used for protection.
To open new territories, Akito will have to expel the filth from the torii gates scattered throughout the city — it is this that is the source of the fog that transported the hero to the world of spirits. While exploring the city, players will encounter unusual phenomena reminiscent of Japanese myths and legends. On the streets of the city you can meet wandering spirits — the wandering souls of Tokyo residents who disappeared at the beginning of the game. They can be returned to the real world — the hero will be helped in this by special telephone machines created by Kay-Kay's friend. For the return of the spirits, the character will be able to learn new skills.

Reviews and ratings
Ooh, I remember what the first trailer for this game was, so mysterious, everyone just disappeared , but as soon as they showed the gameplay, everything became clear to me right away) but I gave the game a chance, played it and honestly that’s what it’s like, let’s start with the main gameplay and here it’s almost a failure, well, somehow there was such potential, but no, it’s a pity the plot was also not impressive, the graphics at maximum settings are also mediocre, and here comes the problem with optimization, I’ll say this if you got it at a big discount or what If you got it for free, then you can play just such games for once! Overall my rating is 7.1/10 . Good luck with the spirit survivor! Read full
Read full
Very cool game, I just enjoyed playing through it. The side quests are so well done that they can almost be confused with the main plot. The graphics are also beautiful, and the style of Japan is generally something special (in a pleasant way).
I got so deep into the plot that I didn’t notice how I passed.
SPOILER. The end of the game was not encouraging, because... The ending ended too quickly. It would be possible to somehow make the end of the game longer and more in-depth
Overall, the game is excellent, and definitely deserves attention!)
