Reviews and ratings
This is a wonderful simulator! At the time of its release it was one of the best F1 simulators. GP4 is second only to F1 Challenge 99-02 from EA Sports in its physical model; it is its main long-term competitor.
Everything else in GP4 is better:
+ Better artificial intelligence, here the AI can use your slipstream when you leave the ideal trajectory. The AI is able to competently defend its position by moving in front of you and slamming the gate or trying to throw you off its air bag. When I discovered all this, I gained respect for the developers.
+ Excellent implementation of weather conditions.
+ Nice graphics.
+ Many mods with F1 seasons of very good quality.
+ There is a built-in tutorial on setting up the car.
Of the minuses:

Это чудесный симулятор! На момент выхода она была одним из лучших симуляторов Ф1. ГП4 уступает по физической модели только F1 Challenge 99-02 от EA Sports, это главный многолетний конкурент.
Все остальное в ГП4 лучше:
+ Лучший искусственный интеллект, здесь ии может пользоваться вашим слипстримом, когда вы уходите с идеальной траектории. ИИ способен грамотно оборонять свою позицию смещаясь перед вами и захлопывая калитку или пытаться сбросить вас со своего воздушного мешка. Когда я все это обнаружил, то проникся уважением к разработчикам.
+ Отличная реализация погодных условий.
+ Приятная графика.
+ Много модов с сезонами Ф1 очень хорошего качества.
+ Есть встроенный туториал по настройке болида.
Из минусов:
