GRID 2 is a continuation of the dynamic racing simulator from the creators of the DIRT series. The game will cover three continents: the USA, Europe and Asia, and in addition to the old tracks you will get acquainted with new ones, which will be located in Chicago, Paris, Abu Dhabi, Miami and on the Pacific coast. In the new part, the multiplayer has undergone a major overhaul to modern standards, and you can now view all the achievements on the Codemasters portal called RaceNet.

After the first part, it was like a balm for my soul. If 1 game was more of a serious simulator, which I don’t really like, then the second one became a more arcade and relaxing race. The graphics have become more beautiful, the cars are now perceived not as plasticine, but as plastic. Yes, that's how I see cars in Codemasters games. Interesting competitions, improved AI of opponents, beautiful accidents on the track that are generated randomly. An accident can occur from a minor fragment of a car body on the highway. The only disappointment is the drift mode, which has been turned into hell. Racenet also appeared - a service like Autolog from EA, which connects all players with each other.
После первой части, для меня как бальзам на душу. Если 1 игра была больше серьезным симулятором, которые я не особо люблю, то вторая стала более аркадной и расслабляющей гонкой. Графика стала покрасивей, машинки теперь воспринимаются не как пластилиновые, а как пластиковые. Да, я так вижу машины в играх от Codemasters. Интересные соревнования, прокачанный ИИ противников, красивые аварии на трассе, которые генерируются случайно. Авария может произойти от незначительного обломка корпуса авто на трассе. Единственное огорчение — это режим дрифта, который превратили в хрен пойми что. Еще появился рэйснет — сервис типа Autolog от ЕА, который соединяет всех игроков между собой.
