The sequel is a benchmark for a cult game. The second Halfa was ahead of its time, becoming a symbol of that very time, and, in a sense, like the first part, determined the vector of development of the gaming industry.

It would seem that we, in the role of the same silent Gordon Freeman, also suffering from a terrible corridor, are killing aliens (but not all of them). BUT we are no longer doing this on the territory of Black Mesa, but in the whole city and suburban areas. With the expansion of the scene of action, the plot became deeper and more interesting, and full-fledged characters appeared. The game has “grown” with everything it lacked. And what a leap it is in terms of graphics... And, of course, the gravity gun. Where would we be without her now?

Half-Life 2 is a first-person shooter. The game combines all the best

that was in shooters of that time. The game has gorgeous graphics, an exciting

plot, and an excellent soundtrack.

Making this game in 2004 is really cool. Legendary shooter from Valve. Here you have action, plot, and atmosphere. The graphics still look decent. Half-Life 2 won't let you get bored.

As I remember now, I was playing calmly with a robot dog in the backyard, throwing garbage left and right, when suddenly aggressive harvesters swooped in, I had to retreat to the creepy city of Ravenholm, where, as in the spleen song - My heart stopped, because that city swarmed with zombies on every corner.

In general, Half-life 2 was ideal for me, each location has its own atmosphere, remembering the same Ravenholm, it sank into my soul for a long time, and the soundtracks? The soundtracks are generally masterpieces for every scene, for every event in the game.

The dialogues and actions of the NPCs made us believe that this was truly a living game, a living world and a living universe.

The game earned a special place in my soul 10 out of 10

A wonderful illustration of how a story about saving your life develops into a full-fledged theatrical production in which minor characters, personalities, motivations appear... Soulless NPCs become so animated that you begin to empathize with them and worry.

From a very good shooter, the game turned into a first-rate blockbuster with a taciturn scientist in the title role. But, most importantly, we now have a goal.

The presentation of the plot has changed radically, merging into one whole with the gameplay, throwing up new problems and directions for activity, forcing us to get deeper and deeper into local confrontations.

And getting closer to trying to save everyone.

Well, what can we say about this Legend?) This game is simply gorgeous. The graphics were an innovation for that time, they look good now too, the plot is simply a masterpiece. The soundtrack is excellent, the physics are good for those times, the optimization is also in place.

All in all, this is a great game, one of the best games (if not the best) in history. I advise everyone to play, you won’t be bored.

Oh yes, I’m still waiting for Half-Life 3))) HL: Alyx is, of course, cool (as is Black Mesa - a fan remake of part 1), but this is a prequel, and we need a sequel.

Gordon Freeman is a real man and the perfect husband for Alex, I think! The bastard is silent and does everything! Class! Not a single word during the entire game! Compared to the first part, the game has a lot of new things!

The game uses an excellent source engine that presents the game in a new light! Explosions, physics, detail - all this is coolly implemented and looks at the highest level! I also want to note how well the game is optimized...it will run even on the weakest computers! The continuation of the cult Half Life turned out to be a masterpiece of gaming art. Everything in the game was perfect, the plot, shooting, graphics, the game also had good physics, very good music. Of course, this is a great game that everyone should play, and talk about it There’s no particular reason for it, because everyone knows her. The result is 10/10.

This game is cult, breakthrough. I can't imagine gaming culture without it, and I don't want to. You can talk endlessly about its merits, but I think it’s pointless. It’s clear to everyone, everyone already knows about Halfa. This is simply worth playing for everyone, everyone should get to know the silent Freeman and everyone should enjoy the physics coupled with such a beautiful and familiar water texture.

At the time, it featured revolutionary facial animation. Even Doom 3, which came out in the same year, couldn't show the same level of animation. In general: If you are thinking about whether to buy it or not, then buy it at a discount in the Valve pack for $5.
