Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 is an arcade racing game made in 3D graphics. The game has 5 modes: “Pursuit Race”, “Championship”, “Single Competition”, “Network Game” and “Quick Race”. In the first two modes, the player must race through the tournament ladder. "Pursuit Race" focuses on police chases, while "Championship" features tournaments and time trials (in "Championship" the player is not chased by police).
