Interesting, atmospheric, not bad gameplay, but there is one big problem... A very, very long introduction until we get to the main map. There was a bug with saves, I almost completed it, I had to leave, I saved, came back - and I had to go through the beginning again for an hour, the save didn’t work. Moreover, not everything can be skipped, from time to time you need to accompany someone and no one wants to run, we just walk. Well, why not take a walk in the cold in winter, when there are wolves and enemies around?!)) Well, I would like half the prologue I cut it out altogether, it was a bit boring, especially the second time, I wouldn’t have made it through the third time)
Another downside is that the game is not at all friendly at the beginning. I completed the prologue, dropped into the camp and what?) Run for half an hour to the first point.. The map is very large and at the beginning it is very empty, there is too much unused space.
Otherwise the game left a good impression, I liked it. But if you compare, for example, with Horizen, then RDR2 falls short in terms of interaction with the player. It started, fell, ran a bit and the action, plot, side quest, it went, it started spinning, it started spinning, here everything is somehow slower, or something, they don’t immediately pull you into the plot headlong.. I would compare it with the plot in New World - sort of there is, but they are so stretched out at a distance that sometimes I forgot what I was doing and where I was running if I didn’t play for 2-3 days. In general, I recommend it, now the price is nice, for those who haven’t played it, it’s the best thing, at the start I would have estimated it at 1500, well, 2k at release.
