Strategic Command: WWII Pacific Theater — is a turn-based strategy game that takes place on a map divided into squares (or "tiles"). It is the first game in the series to take place not in the European theater of World War II, but in the titular Pacific theater.
The main campaign runs from the attack on Pearl Harbor to 1947 and takes place on a map stretching from Novosibirsk and Bangalore in the west to California in the east and from the Bering Strait in the north to the south coast of New Zealand in the south. The game also features 8 "mini-campaigns" played on small maps, namely: the Battle of Midway, the Kododa Trail, the Philippine Campaign, the Battles of Imphal and Kohima, the Battle of Peleliu, the Battle of Iwo Jima and the Battle of Okinawa.
