The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is a collection of unusual adventure arcade games with visual novel elements, where the gameplay revolves around verbal battles in the courtroom, and gamers also have to collect evidence. There are two leads into the main Phoenix Wright series: the first game takes place in Japan during the Meiji period, the second — during Victorian England. In the games you have to act as a lawyer who conducts his own investigation and proves the innocence of his clients in court.
