The Witcher Remake is a full-fledged remake of the first The Witcher, created from scratch using Unreal Engine 5. The project is in the early stages of production. The development is being handled by the Polish studio Fool's Theory, which includes veterans of the franchise. CD Projekt RED itself oversees the creative side of the process.
The game is based on the series of novels of the same name by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The main character, Geralt, is a witcher, specifically created to destroy various monsters and mutants. In his childhood, he was deliberately subjected to various mutations to gain greater strength, improved reflexes, and accelerated metabolism. The events of the game take place five years after the events of the last book in the Witcher series, "The Lady of the Lake." Having lost his memory, he tries to find out what happened during his disappearance and attempts to help old friends well-known from the literary works.

Yes, I heard that they are doing a remake, it will be cool to look at the first part from a new angle! So the rating of expectations is 10/10

I would like to see in a remake a game that, if possible, will preserve the atmosphere and plot of the old one, with minimal interference in its main components that determine continuity with the original source.
