The Witcher Remake is a full remake of the first The Witcher, created from scratch using Unreal Engine 5. The project is in the early stages of production. It is being developed by the Polish studio Fool's Theory, which includes veterans of the franchise. CD Projekt RED is overseeing the creative side of the process.
The game is based on the eponymous series of novels by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The main character, Geralt, is a witcher, specifically created to eliminate various monsters and mutants. In his childhood, he was deliberately subjected to various mutations to gain greater strength, improved reflexes, and accelerated metabolism. The events of the game begin five years after the events of the last book in the witcher saga — "The Lady of the Lake." Having lost his memory, he tries to find out what happened during his disappearance and seeks to help old friends, well-known from the literary works.

Yes, I heard that they are doing a remake, it will be cool to look at the first part from a new angle! So the rating of expectations is 10/10

I would like to see in a remake a game that, if possible, will preserve the atmosphere and plot of the old one, with minimal interference in its main components that determine continuity with the original source.
Хочется увидеть в ремейке игру, которая по возможности сохранит атмосферу и сюжет старой, при минимальном вмешательстве в главные составляющие её компоненты, определяющие преемственность с первоисточником.
Why are they doing it for so long? So we're waiting... Would it be interesting to have the Russian language in the voice acting? I think they are interested in sales and for this reason they can give the game a Russian localization.
Да чтож так долго делают то? Так ждём... Интнресно будет ли русский язык в озвучке? Думаю они заинтересованы в продажах и по этой причине могут дать в игру русскую локализацию.
If the combat mechanics are as awful as in the original (click when the cursor glows), I probably won't even download it. I'll watch a walkthrough on YouTube then. Otherwise, I'm waiting.
Если механика боя будет такой же отвратительной как и в оригинале (жми когда курсор запылает), то я наверно даже и скачивать не буду. Посмотрю тогда прохождение на Ютубе. А так да, жду.
