Vietcong 2 - the game has two campaigns - USA and Vietnam. In the first campaign, the player takes on the role of US Army Commander Douglas Boone, who accompanies an American journalist who is reporting on the traditional local New Year celebrations in Hue during the Armistice. The second campaign, where the player acts on the side of the Viet Cong, tells the adventures of a young recruit in the North Vietnamese army. He fights the South Vietnamese army in the rice paddies and jungles around his village, eventually becoming a sergeant during the Hue Mutiny, and storms the Imperial Palace. This campaign, especially its beginning, is more similar to the first part of the game.
