At GDC Awards 2024, the best games of the year were selected — Baldur's Gate 3 received the most awards

The Game Developers Choice Awards 2024 ceremony took place recently, where developers chose the best games of 2023. The main award was won by Baldur's Gate 3, which incidentally received the most prizes.
Here are the winners of the Game Developers Choice Awards 2024:
- Best Audio — Hi-Fi Rush;
- Best Debut — Venba;
- Best Design — Baldur's Gate 3;
- Best Innovation — The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom;
- Best Narrative — Baldur's Gate 3;
- Best Social Impact — Venba;
- Best Technology — The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom;
- Best Visual Art — Alan Wake 2;
- Game of the Year — Baldur's Gate 3;
- Audience Award — Baldur's Gate 3;
- Lifetime Achievement Award — Yoko Shimomura;
- Ambassador Award — Fawzi Mesmar.
It is worth mentioning that Baldur's Gate 3 also triumphed at many other ceremonies, including The Game Awards 2023, where it received the highest number of awards.
