At GDC 2024, a trailer for Chrono Odyssey was shown, which is called «a next-generation MMORPG»

During the GDC 2024 expo, Kakao Games and Chrono Studio released a new trailer for Chrono Odyssey, which the developers boldly call «a next-generation MMORPG». The game is being developed on the Unreal Engine 5.

Chrono Odyssey features a seamless open world and a dynamic combat system. Gamers will be able to freely explore various locations, including snow-covered mountains, gloomy swamps, dense forests, castles, and more.

There is a class system that allows players to choose from one of six specializations (swordsman, ranger, sorcerer, berserk, paladin, and assassin). The main action takes place in a fantasy setting, where according to the plot, there is a powerful artifact — the Chronotector. With its help, one can alter space and time. Using the magic of this item, the player will have to repel the invasion of otherworldly beings.

The developers also promise multiplayer raids, a crafting system, skill leveling, and character customization.

Chrono Odyssey is being developed for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game can be added to the wishlist on Steam and Epic Games Store.
